To my fellow adventurers: I embarked on a journey to backpack on my own. My travels brought me to the scenic green views in Iceland and across the bumpy cobblestone throughout Europe. Empowering as it may sound something was missing. For that reason, I knew my last stop was going to be in Israel so I reached out to Paratrek.

Paratrek was my ticket to true exploration. For the first time, since I started using a wheelchair half my life ago my adventure did not stop where the path ended or the stairs started. I did not have to stare at view from a window watching my fellow tour run ahead of me. I craved to continue wheeling forward. Thanks to Paratrek, I did just that I traversed and I hiked. ;

I cannot be more grateful to the company that strives to make outdoor adventures accessible to everyone. Through the goodness of strangers and my friends, I was assisted safely through gravel, dirt, and up boulders. I forgot what it was like to see a view of the world from a trail and Paratrek was liberating.

To any fellow disabled adventures who wonder, "Can I do this?" -- The answer is undoubtedly yes. If you're craving being outdoors and literally climbing to new heights, no matter how abled or disabled you may be, Paratrek will get you safely where you want to go in the world.

I am a new Paratrek addict and I wrote this hoping it will inspire other disabled adventurers to do as I did.

Thank you Paratrek Team for having my back. I hope my vacation weight wasn't too much of a burden for you

Sincerely, Jake My Instagram adventures @IRolledUpLikeThis
